Doug Reeves

For 29 years I have been married to the love of my life, Marilil. Together we have three fantastic daughters.

In 1988 I founded My Brother's Helper, Inc. For the past 22 years, I have assisted handicapped adults in their quest to obtain meaningful employment and become self-supporting. This small business, 501(c) (3) non-profit organization also provides for young people to perform community service and learn life lessons. In January, 2009 we began a program mentoring fatherless young men.

I received my Bachelor of Theology degree from the International Bible College and previously attended Austin Community College, UTSA. I also pursued an associate degree in psychology at St. Edwards University and a Masters in counseling at Houston Graduate School of Theology.

George Washington said "Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company.'" I am pleased to be associated with these organizations and clubs:
  • Hispanic Rotary of Plano
  • North Texas/Plano Tea Party (Officer)
  • Frisco Republican Men's Club
  • Golden Corridor Women's Club (Associate Member)
  • Catholics and Protestants for pro-life in Collin County
  • Friends of Knights of Columbus
  • Plano Republican Women's Club (Associate Member)
  • Collin County Conservatives
  • Hispanic Conservative Society
  • Plano Chamber of Commerce
  • Friends of Plano Rotary Club
